Ireland's Hidden Heartlands, where you find peace and quiet and time to relax. With so much to chose from on our doorstep you could pitch your tent, caravan/ motorhome or book into our B&B and then head out into the neighbouring counties of Roscommon and Leitrim to investigate at your own pace. The towns of Boyle and Carrick on Shannon are recommended to explore and a circular drive can bring you through Leitrim village and Drunshambo before returning to our site next to the beautiful Lough Arrow.
For Walkers
A stroll from our site down the peninsula , Lough Key Forest Park (a 15 minute drive away)
or The Miners Trail crosses 10 minutes from our site.
For Water Lovers: Fly and course fishing, boat hire, pleasure cruises, swimming and paddle boarding are all available in the area.

For Cyclists: Cycle on our minor roads, looking out for the red squirrels and pine martins or head to Lough Key Forest Park where you even could hire a segway. (view routes here)
