LOUGH ARROW
TOURING PARK
EXPLORE THE AREA
We took over the reins at Lough Arrow in June 2017 and have been welcoming returning guests and introducing new visitors to this beautiful area.

We are keen walkers and with our 2 springer spaniels have been exploring the local counties of Sligo, Roscommon and Leitrim for forest and beach walks suitable for our four-legged friends. Just let us know your plans for the day and we will offer ideas of where to stop for a dog walk on the way. Towards Sligo are Lissadell Strand, Union Woods and walks on the shores of Lough Gill overlooking Innisfree. The Sligo Way and the Historical and Miners Trail are more challenging long distance walks and a climb to the top of Benbulben offers spectacular views accross to Donegal.
There are so many tourist attractions just a short drive away from us – rural county Sligo and Roscommon are well worth a stop to explore. Well we think so, and hope to hear your recommendations too. Check out Agrina Mines, Eagles Flying or the historical trail through Boyle. Take a trip to Yeats grave at Drumcliff and Glencar waterfall, or call at Strandhill for surfing, a seaweed bath or to visit the ancient sites of Knocknarea and Carrowmore. In Sligo Town you can always find live music and a good pint of guiness. Follow The Wild Atlantic Way to Donegal or Westport admiring the beaches and cliffs and looking out for the wildlife along your circular days drive.
Fishing is abundant, with loughs and rivers to challenge the best skills. Make sure you pack you gear and we will point spots to try, depending on the fly! Brown trout, Pike and Perch are fished in this area.
Cycling is also a great way to explore rural Sligo, winding down the small roads and stopping off to admire the views before coming back to sit and relax in the peaceful grounds of the site.
If you don’t have your own accommodation we have 2 B&B rooms on site.
The club room is available to everyone on site and we will light the fire to warm us up on any cold night.
We hope to make your stay a memorable one and look forward to meeting you soon.
